About Ramath-lehi
Ramath-lehi ( Ral ) is a free dice-less roleplaying game played on an online forum. You do not see anything happening like you would in a graphical video game, as Ramath-lehi is entirely text-based (play-by-post). So you'll have to use you imagination for that part. When you join, you become an author in our collaborative story. You get to make up your own characters, select their species, trades, and write up descriptions for them. Then you start writing, other "authors" will join in, adding their own characters and help in developing the plot. Eventually you have a small piece of a story. Ramath-lehi is a collection of many story pieces written by many authors who have made up many characters. In short, Ramath-lehi is simply an ongoing collaborative story. Genre.
Ramath-lehi is wedged tightly between two genres, science fiction (post-apocalyptic) and fantasy. Science fiction because it takes place after the "destruction" of what we know of as Earth and on a completely different planet as well. The pendragons having carefully documented the rise and fall of our populated world. The fantasy element the ties in is present in the form of magic, which draws itself from what the pendragons know as the spirit world, or as it is more formally known, Fronima.
What We Roleplay.
The dominant species that inhabits Ramath-lehi are anthropomorphic creatures known as pendragons. Their name originates from the fact that they believe they are direct ancestors of dragons that have fallen into the working hands of evolution. The dragon qualities are still visible. Specially in their eyes which still burn with the dragon's ardent fire. A pendragon's overall build looks like an odd cross between what we know as a canine, feline and dragon. It holds in it the power of the wolf, but the grace and agility of a feline... not to mention the claws. Upon further inspection of their fur, one would find out that it isn't fur at all, but instead appears to be thin, more streamlined version of scales. Pendragons arrive in all colours in the visible light spectrum, bursting forth from a laid egg with an attack of flame, often associating themselves with a specific element or even an emotion. There are several different subspecies, and species of pendragons that you may choose from when creating your character. You may find these in the Playable Species Database.

Perhaps you don't have time to roleplay. Perhaps you simply like to read. Or perhaps you just wish to learn more about Ramath-lehi before you go ahead and create a character to throw into the fray. Whatever your reasoning, Ramath-lehi has a designated "Lurker" member group. Those in the Lurker member group are granted the privilege to post in all of the Out of Character sections on our forums. You can then contribute to Out of Character discussions and matters that relate to game development... or just lurk. In order to become a Lurker, you will need to pass Ramath-lehi's Joining Quiz. Once you have done that and have created your account, post in the Help Desk and request to be made a Lurker.
